But what if I fly?

I simply have stopped caring about the things not worth caring about.

I don't care about corporate internships or diploma mills or the petty little labels and boxes that we're continually acclimated to. All of that is, to be blunt, [[blocked]].

I care about a couple things. I care about the well-being of humanity as a whole, and about those humans with whom I'm lucky to be surrounded in particular. I care about not having the world blow up before I turn 80. I care about making my kids' lives better than my own. And, through my current work, my dear stalker*, I believe I've found a path to solve for all of these things.

I don't like the idea of imposing a theme, by force, on my life to build a personal "brand". But if I had to pick a throughline, I think it would be that I'm trying to do right by my country and my family (by blood and by choice!).

Things I can do...

I can do math.

I like causal mathematics, homotopy type theory, and graph theory. Well. I *like* other stuff, too, it just happens that that's what I mostly work on.

I can code.

I know whatever it takes, man. Python, C++, Neo4J, Postgres. I learn the tool for the job, not the other way around.

I know finance.

Questionable if anyone truly "gets" the global financial system -- but I know the mechanics better than most. Worked on internal counterparty credit risk tooling at JPMC.

I can handle data.

I've worked with tons of programmatic data processing systems (Pandas, SciPy, Spark, etc) and enterprise softwares like Tableau.

I can research.

Helped with research at MIT back in '24 as to how misinformation spreads on social networks.

I can plan.

I know how to work with sclerotic procurement processes. Institutional GTM, organizational design, lab-to-enterprise sales.

I can talk.

I can DJ.

Been producing since 8th grade. Did NOT get a place working for the campus radio station.
